We had the best summer at Madera. We were so happy to make our campsite our own and to be set-up to arrive at anytime of the day and all we had to do is put our awning up! We loved getting to know our neighbours and the staff at Madera and feeling ok to let our kids ride their bikes around without worrying about traffic. We really enjoyed the warm water on the lake and the amazing sand. We have some of the best sand on this lake down on our end of Lake Koocanusa! Our kids enjoyed tubing and kneeboarding and my husband and I enjoyed wakeboarding. We are so happy to be Madera and plan to continue making memories there for years to come!
CM, Elkford BCMadera Ranch RV Park is our Home away from Home. It’s the one place we can come to and totally relax. The sites are the biggest of any RV park in the Kootenays, so there’s lots of privacy. We sit around the fire at night and feel exceptionally lucky to have found this place. If boating and swimming is your thing, Lake Koocanusa is one of the warmest lakes in the area with beautiful sandy shores. Madera is still in the developmental stage, but when completed I feel it will be the best RV park on the entire lake.
